Deregistration from the Social Insurance Agency as an employer

How can I deregister myself from the Social Insurance Agency as an employer?

Text

You stop being an employer when you no longer have any employees.

In this case, you do not have to do anything. The Social Insurance Agency will send you a notification of termination of registration in the employers’ register. This is done when you deregister the last employee.

Can I access eServices even if I am no longer registered as an employer?

Text

Yes. You can still log in to eServices and correct your reports if necessary. The electronic services remain active unless you request their cancellation.

What if I am deregistered, but I intend to re-register as an employer in the future?

Text

Even after you have deregistered as an employer, all of your eServices remain active. If you start employing someone, log on to the employers’ register again online.

Do not forget that you need to register no later than the day before you employ the first worker
