Request a pension certificate (Miscellaneous)

You may need a certificate relating to your pension for tax and other purposes (e.g. free train travel). Such certificates will be issued upon request by the Social Insurance Agency and its branches.

Which pension certificates are issued by the Social Insurance Agency?

The Social Insurance Agency issues certificates certifying the following:

• application for a pension;
• receiving a pension, with the current amount of the pension;
• receiving a pension, without specifying the amount of the pension;
• receiving a pension increased to the minimum pension;
• pension benefits paid for a certain period;
• non-receipt of a pension;
• date of a pension award;
• the amount of the 13^th pension;
• the schedule of executory deductions from pensions;
• the percentage reduction in earning capacity.

Ask for a confirmation in any of the following ways

• by telephone or e-mail (contacts can be found in the Information and Advisory Centre section); or
• in person at a Social Insurance Agency branch; or
• via your electronic mailbox if you have activated it and you use an electronic citizen’s identity card – eID (you can find more information at the Central Government Portal slovensko.sk)

You will receive the confirmation

• in person at a Social Insurance Agency branch;
• by post at your home address or at the correspondence address you have provided;
• in your electronic mailbox.
