How do I register with the Social Insurance Agency?

If you are a natural person or legal entity who provides another person with income from dependent activity, you have certain obligations towards the Social Insurance Agency. The first thing to do is register with the Social Insurance Agency.

The method of registration with the Social Insurance Agency depends on whether you are registering for the first time as an employer or have been previously registered as an employer.

Have you ever been registered as an employer in the past?

• NO, this is my first registration:
  You submit the Employer’s Registration Form to the Social Insurance Agency. You can submit this to the relevant branch either on paper (Employer’s registration form) or electronically via the www.slovensko.sk portal.
• YES, this is a repeated registration:
  1. Register electronically eServices (SK) on the Social Insurance Agency portal.
  2. Select the ‘Employer’s Registration Form’, select the ‘Registration’ option and submit the completed registration form.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

You must register no later than the day before the start of your first employee’s employment.

USEFUL TIP:

The relevant branch is the branch according to the location of the department that keeps the wage records or the branch based on the employer’s registered office if the employer does not process wages internally.

You can also activate your repeated registration when you do not process your documents in eServices. You need your original access data unless you have applied to have them removed.
